Here is my next report from Tuesday, August 12th, 2009. When I arrived at the studios, I noticed that the set was quite busy. It seemed that they were preparing to shoot something. A few seconds later my heart skipped a beat because I saw Tom standing up high on a scaffold, all dressed like the new Blur, that is, in his long black coat. To make sure that it was really Tom and not some stunt double, I pulled out my goggles (yes, I do come prepared!). And yes, yippie, it was Tom himself standing up there in all his black-coat glory. It seems he is not afraid of heights, because I certainly could not stand up there without getting very week in my knees.
I was surprised that his t-shirt with the silvery S on it, was so loose and not tight at all. (He sometimes opened the coat to let some cool air in.) But soon I noticed that he was wearing some sort of harness underneath. I also noticed that he was connected to some security wire, which could barely be seen. I could only see it when they disconnected him to get him down for a short while, and when he came back they connected him again to the wire. It was a relief to see that they take care of his saftey.
All he did in this scene, which lasted for about 90 minutes, was stand there and look down to the crowd in "Metropolis". He also got down on his right knee several times, which was protected by a pad. It seemed that the Blur was contemplating something or listening to something. Wouldn't be a surprise because it must be episode 4 or 5 that they were filming. (Echo anyone?) Anyway, it is amazing how long it takes to film such a simple scene. After all, I don't know how long he'd been up there already before I arrived.

Tom estuvo mas de 90 minutos parado con la ropa de RBB en una torre mirando a la muchedumbre de "Metropolis".. la camisa del RBB es suelta y tiene una S plateada en el pecho, tambien tenia un arnes debajo de la ropa y ademas de los cables de seguridad. Posiblemente estan filmando el episodio 4 o 5.

noventa minutos hay bueno todo sea por el espectaculo y por el dinero q se gana en el sueldo jejeje
