Fancasta entrevisto a Erica Durance, en donde dio algunos spoilers sobre Clois, sus escena con Chloe y como fue ser dirigida por Allison Mack.

Lois Lane may not yet be aware of her sweetheart Clark’s alter ego, but she’s about to dig up some other top-secret out-of-this-world intel. On the occasion of ‘Smallville’s two-hour “Absolute Justice” event (Friday at 8/7c, The CW), we invited Erica Durance to preview Lois’ next big scoop and weigh in on the truly super romance currently unfolding on our screens.

Your mom’s not within earshot like the last time we talked, is she?

No. [Laughs] I’m all alone. How bizarre was that?!

I asked Brian Peterson this question, and would now like to get your take: What was more difficult, keeping the Clark-Lois romance at arm’s length or now honoring it?

I think each one was its own kind of animal. It’s always tricky, when you’ve created this kind of angst-filled relationship, to figure out a great way for them to get together. So I think it was a lot more difficult figuring out how to honor this relationship. Being so iconic, it already has such a great blueprint out there. There have been a lot of conversations back and forth.

Now that all eyes are on you more than ever, has there been a particular kiss or love scene that gave you anxiety to sell to the viewers?

I just take each situation on its own accord and try to find out where it was coming from and make it really real. I try to make sure it’s not just a kiss for a kiss’ sake. I have a tendency to overanalyze anyways, and I’m really overanalyzing these [moments]. [Laughs]

As “Absolute Justice” rolls around, where do things stand with Lois and Clark (played by Tom Welling)?

We’re still at the tentative, starting out phase, realizing that we have feelings for each other, doing the dating thing…. We’re still sussing each other out.

While Clark is out meeting his costumed peers, what’s Lois up to?
Lois is doing her own investigative research [into the Justice Society of America].

What I love about this is she’s running parallel to what everybody else is doing. Clark is finding out all this stuff by actually speaking to [JSA members] while Lois, thanks to her own tenacity, comes up with similar answers. You get to see her journalistic side more.

The logline for the episode says that the covert Checkmate organization sends Lois a package. Were you excited to see her get wrapped up in the Amanda Waller storyline?

Absolutely, it’s really nice to get interwoven into that. They sprinkle in that Lois may be in contact with this character again, and I love that. Pam Grier (’Foxy Brown’) is pretty perfect casting, as Amanda.
And she was really gracious and fun to work with. As an actor, the story is really great, but then I go, “I get to work with Pam, who’s fantastic!” The energy was so different on set when she walked in.

Skipping ahead to next week’s episode, “Warrior,” a few of the released images have people talking. For one, what’s up with Zatanna (Serinda Swan) kissing Clark?

Yeah, well…. [Laughs] Let’s just say Lois feels territorial. She doesn’t have to witness it, thank goodness – that’s something she wouldn’t want in her brain forever – but she does find out about it and deals with it in her very brash, Lois way, which I thought was great. What about Lois’ outfit, what are you hearing about that?

Some of the fans have dubbed your costumed self “Wonder Lane.”

[Laughs] We have these great designers who made me an “Amazon princess” for the day, because we have to be careful not to do Wonder Woman. And Lois then has to deal with this run-in with Zatanna, who – let’s face it – is every woman’s nightmare. You really don’t want your boyfriend kissing this chick. As Lois finds herself in this situation, she realizes how much it affects her and how jealous she was about it… It was a fun episode to do, but Lois didn’t like it very much!

What about Lois and Chloe (Allison Mack)? What’s the dynamic between the cousins these days?

Lois and Chloe haven’t been around each other, their stories don’t overlap too much. In “Warrior” you see that they still have their close, cousin relationship, but Lois alludes to the fact that “You need to get out and be with people more.” She doesn’t know what Chloe’s doing, but she knows that she’s cut herself off from people and been off on her own.

“Warrior” marked your first time being directed by Allison. How did it go?

She has this great, really positive energy. She loves directing. And what’s nice about Allison is she is an actress so she knows where you’re coming from. When somebody is coming from the other side [of the camera], it’s always helpful because they know how to say things in a certain way to help you out.

Having now seen Tom Welling and Allison do it, do you have a yen to direct?

Not right now. I’m loving acting, and I want to continue to appreciate and understand that side, to become a better actress. As far as taking the helm and telling people what to do, no thank you. [Laughs]

A little further down the road we have “Escape,” in which Clark and Lois go to a bed-and-breakfast…

That’s right.

Couples traditionally spend the night at a bed-and-breakfast….

Le pregunte a Brian Peterson esta pregunta, y me gustaria que me des tu opinion: Que fue mas dificil, mantener el romance entre Clarky Lois en secreto o honrrarla?

Creo que cada uno tuvo su propio animal. Siempre es dificil, cuando tu creas esta relacion llena de ansiedad, para descubrir un buen camino para que ellos dos esten juntos. Asi que creo que fue mas dificil honrrar esta relacion. Siendo tan iconica, ya tiene un gran plano que seguir alli afuera. Ha habido muchas conversaciones sobre el antes y el ahora.

Ahora que la atencion esta en ti mas que nunca, ha habido algun beso o escena de amor que te dio ansiedad por vender al telespectador?

Solo tomo cada situacion en su propia acuerdo y trato de descubrir de donde viene y hacerlo real. Tratode asegurarme que no es solo una escena de beso por el objetivo del beso. Tengo tendencia a reanalizarlas de todas formas, y en verdad reanalizo estos momentos. (Risas)

Como "Justicia Absoluta" esta a punto de emitirse, como estan las cosas para Lois y Clark (interpretado por Tom Welling)?

Aun seguimos en la fase provicional, dandonos cuenta de que tenemos sentimientos el uno por el otro, haciendo eso de las citas......Aun estamos conociendonos el uno al otro.

Mientras Clark esta conociendo a sus colegas disfrazados, que esta pasando con Lois?

Lo que me gusta de esto es que ella esta llendo paralelo en comparacion hacia donde los demas van. Clark esta descubriendo todas esta cosas hablando con los miembros de la Sociedad de Justicia Americana mientras Lois, gracias a su propia tenacidad, viene con respuestas similares. Llegas a ver mas su lado reportero.

El guion para el episodio dice de que la organizacion Checkmate le envia a Lois un paquete. Estabas emocionada de verla envuelta en la historia de Amanda Waller?

Por supuesto, siempre es bueno estar envuelta en eso. Ellos dijeron de que Lois estaria en contacto con este personaje denuevo, y me encanta. Pam Grier ('Foxy Brown') es genial como Amanda. Y ella es alguien muy graciosa y divertida con quien trabajar. Como actor, la historia es genial, pero luego digo, "Llego a trabajar con Pam, quien es fantastica!" La energia fue muy diferente en el set cuando ella llego.

Hablando del siguiente episodio, "Warrior", algunas de las imagenes reveladas tiene a la gente hablando. Por un lado, que pasa con Zatanna (Serinda Swan) besando a Clark?

Bueno, si.....(Risas) Digamos que Lois se siente territorial. Ella no tiene que presenciarlo, gracias a Dios - eso es algo que ella no querria grabado en su cabeza para siempre -pero si se entera sobre esto y lo resuelve en su muy confidente-agresiva forma de ser, lo cual creia que era genial. Que tal el traje de Lois, que estas oyendo sobre eso?

Algunos de los fans estan dudando en tu propio traje "Super Lane"

(Risas) Nosotros tenemos unos disenadores quienes me hicieron una "Princesa Amazonas" por un dia, porque teniamos que tener cuidado en no hacer la de Super mujer. Y Lois luego tiene que enfrentarse con este encuentro con Zatanna, quien, admitamoslo, es la pesadilla de toda mujer. Tu no quieres a tu novio besando a esta chica. Mientras Lois se encuentra en esta situacion, ella se da cuenta cuanto le afecta y cuando celosa se pone....Fue un episodio divertido de grabar, pero a Lois no le gusto mucho!

Que hay entre Lois y Chloe (Allison Mack)? Cual es la dinamica entre las primas en estos dias?

Lois y Chloe no han estado andando juntas, sus historias no coinciden mucho. En "Warrior"' veras que aun tienen su cercana relacion de primas, pero Lois alude el hecho de que "Necesitas salir mas y relacionarte con mas personas." Ella no sabe lo que Chloe esta haciendo, pero si sabe que se ha separada de las personas y que ha estado mas en su propia cuenta.

"Warrior" marco tu primera vez dirigida por Allison. Como fue?

Ella tiene esta gran, gran energia positiva. A ella le encanta dirigir. Y lo que es genial sobre Allison es que ella es una actriz asi que ella sabe de donde vienes. Cuando hay alguien viniendo del otro lado (de la camara), siempre es de ayuda porque ellos saben como decir las cosas en un cierto camino que te ayuda.

Habiend visto a Tom y a Allison hacerlo, tienes deseos por dirigir?

Ahora mismo no. Me encanta actuar, y quiero continuar aprenciando y entendiendo esa parte, para convertirme en una mejor actriz. Lo que concierne a tomar el timon y decirle a las personas que hacer, no gracias. (Risas)

Un poco mas lejos del camino que la situacion que tenemos en "Escape", en donde Clark y Lois van a una cama y desayuno.....

Asi es.
